I certainly like the name of the WEEROCK Bike V Brake Set. A positive company image. And I like the LOOKS of the WEEROCK Bike V Brake Set. It appears to have the complete brake system for my cheapest bike that I’m giving to a homeless man, a Roadmaster Granite Peak 26 (think Walmart). But I didn’t need it. My weak front brake issue was a pinched cable housing, so I re-seated it, turned the barrel adjust on the handlebar almost all the way in, then adjusted the front brake CABLE by undoing it’s 10mm nut, pulling more cable through it, and retightening the nut. Then I turned the barrel adjuster in 1/2 turn, and lifted the front of the bike, and spun the wheel, to make sure the brakes weren’t too tight. (On rim brakes, I learned that a bent or untuned wheel often causes the brakes to rub. – One reason I prefer disc brakes.)
